For an app-first company, leveraging videos has transitioned from being a good-to-have feature to a must-have. This is why we are thrilled to announce our newly launched theme of the month - Video Feed.

With Video Feed, you can integrate short-form video content directly into your app, delivering reels/shorts with seamless fluidity. For now, this is available only on Android Native. Keep reading till the last section to learn more about it.

Chatroom topics are available on ReactNative, Swift, ReactJS, and Kotlin. On Flutter, it will be launched in the next quarter.

Customization is the cornerstone of a holistic app ecosystem. Our Custom Widgets enable you to tailor the app to your exact specifications. Get custom attachment types in feeds, flexibility to tweak the look and feel of posts, and more. It is available on Flutter, ReactJS, and Kotlin.

Explore Feedrooms

An eloquent system where user engagement isn’t left to chance. With our Feed Group feature, you can architect specific feeds for distinct user cohorts. Whether you’re targeting niche communities or broad user bases, Explore Feedrooms allows users to discover and interact within these specialized environments. Available via REST APIs and Flutter SDKs.

Feature Parity

We understand that consistency across platforms is key. That’s why this month, we focused on the following feature parity.

1. Advanced media features for images/videos in feeds like aspect ratio handling, mute, pause, autoplay, seek bar, and zoom, are now available in Swift. They were earlier accessible on ReactNative and Flutter.
2. Poll in chat is now live on Swift, which was earlier available on Kotlin, ReactNative, and ReactJS. On Flutter, it’s expected to go live early next quarter.
3. Server-to-server authentication is now available on all stacks.
4. Another recently added theme in Swift is the Q&A feed, which was earlier available on Flutter.
