Just like everybody else, you too were born alone and while growing up, you found the meaning behind your existence. But finding this is not enough because when you start moving to achieve what you always wanted, you have to face many challenges in this journey. These challenges can be anything such as:

There is one thing that can help you with all these challenges and that thing is a community. Yes, you heard it right.  A community is a group of people who share common interests with you and want to share and learn new things altogether. That’s it!

An example of a community is a group of Buddhists who meet at the temple and chant hymns together.

Now, can you think of a few communities that you are a part of knowingly or unknowingly?

If not, then let me tell you that you are a part of modern communities that have migrated from the offline world to the online world through the power of technology via platforms like WhatsApp, Facebook, telegram, etc. So a WhatsApp group where you and your friends talk about your common interests like your hobby or your work domain is also a form of community.

The importance of virtual communities is that we can join them irrespective of our location and make the most of them even without meeting with other members in-person. Now think again and count the importance of virtual communities you’re a part of. If you’re not using them then let me tell you how these communities will help you with your calling and a lot more.

As I have mentioned a bunch of challenges above, here I will be defining each challenge and how a community is important in helping you overcome it.

Solution: A community gives you a purpose in life and even a job sometimes.

• You are not sure how to grow!

Solution: A community helps you explore your potential to the fullest.

• You are not sure whom to look up to when in need!

Solution: A community helps you find mentors.

• You want to help but are not sure how and whom to help!

Solution: A community shows you ways to give back.

• You are not able to live life to the fullest!

Solution: A community gives you friends.

• You are not sure how to make a dent in the universe!

Solution: With a community, you can easily do it.

Always remember - Everyone belongs to a tribe, either find yours or build one. We are over 7.7 billion people in the world, there will be some people who are similar and share a common interest with you.
